Power BI solutions built for the questions each team asks
Power BI solutions are ready-shaped dashboards and reports that answer one business question well, such as where sales stand or which invoices are late. Each one joins the right data, defines its measures once and shows the result on a page a manager can read quickly. Our consultants build them inside your own Microsoft tenant, so the files stay yours.
- One question per dashboard
- Measures defined once
- Built in your tenant

What are Power BI solutions?
A solution is more than a chart. It starts with a question that someone must answer every week. For example, a sales lead wants to know which deals will close this month. So the dashboard is shaped around that answer, not around the tables in a database.
Behind each page sits a semantic model. It holds the tables, the relationships and the measures. Because every number comes from one place, two people never argue about whose total is right.
The pages listed here each describe one such dashboard or report. They explain what it shows, which data it needs and which mistakes to avoid. Therefore you can judge the fit before you speak to anyone.

Power BI solutions by business area
Reporting needs usually fall into one of six areas, and one area is a sensible place to start.
Sales and pipeline
Pipeline value, win rate and forecast sit on one page, so a sales lead sees what needs attention today.
Finance reporting
Profit and loss, budget against actual and cash flow use shared measures, so month end holds fewer surprises.
People and HR
Headcount, turnover and attendance appear by team, while row-level rules keep private detail private.
Supply and stock
Inventory levels, supplier lead time and open orders show where stock is short before a customer notices.
Customer service
Ticket volume, response time and repeat contacts reveal where the service desk needs more help.
Management scorecards
A small set of KPIs with targets gives leaders one honest view across all departments.
Which dashboard should a company build first?
Start where a decision is slow today. If the finance team spends days in spreadsheets at month end, then a profit and loss report gives the fastest relief. If sales managers guess the forecast, a pipeline dashboard comes first instead.
A good first project is also small. One source system and one team keep the scope clear. As a result, people see a working report early, and trust grows from there.
However, the first build should not be a dead end. We design the model so that later dashboards reuse the same dates, customers and products. That way the second project costs less effort than the first. Building that shared base is part of Power BI data modeling.
What every one of our Power BI solutions includes
The subject changes from page to page, but these six things stay the same.
- A written list of measures and their definitions
- Star schema models that other reports can reuse
- Row-level security where the data is sensitive
- A scheduled refresh that someone on your team owns
- Pages tested on a laptop and on a phone
- Handover notes and a recorded walkthrough
How we deliver Power BI solutions
Each build follows four stages, and you approve one before the next begins.
Agree the question
First we write down who uses the dashboard and which decision it supports, because that sets every later choice.
Check the data
Then a consultant profiles the source tables and flags gaps early, so nothing surprises you late in the build.
Build and demo weekly
We show the work live each week. Since feedback arrives early, changes stay small.
Hand over
Finally your team receives the files, the notes and a walkthrough, and decides whether to keep us on.
Questions about Power BI solutions
Are these Power BI solutions templates or custom builds?
They are custom builds that follow a proven shape. Every company names its stages, accounts and products differently, so a fixed template rarely fits. Instead we start from a layout that has worked before and then model your own data behind it. As a result, you get a familiar design with numbers that match your books.
Which data sources can Power BI solutions use?
Power BI connects to a wide range of sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, SharePoint lists and many cloud applications. Microsoft publishes the full connector list. Where no connector exists, we usually stage the data in a database first. Our integration pages describe the honest route for each common system.
Can one Power BI solution serve several departments?
Yes, when the model is shared. Sales and finance often need the same customers, products and dates. So we build those tables once and let each department have its own report pages on top. Row-level security then limits what each person sees, while the numbers still agree across teams.
Do you resell licenses with a dashboard project?
No. We do not resell licenses, so our advice on license types does not depend on a sale. You buy directly from Microsoft or through a partner you already use. However, we do explain which option suits the way you plan to share reports, and we point to the Microsoft documentation.
How do we start a dashboard project?
Begin with the free thirty minute assessment. You describe the question the dashboard must answer and show a sample of the data if you can. Afterwards we send a written scope that lists the pages, the measures and the sources. Nothing starts until you approve it, so the first call carries no obligation.
